So I woke up this morning in great anticipation of going to see Harry Potter, however the sound of my mother sobbing in our living room sent those plans down the drain. We received news this morning that my grandfather had passed away on the way to the airport to pick up my father, whom he had not seen for at least 12 months. That is afterall the problem with living on the other side of the world.
So after an hour of condoling my mother, I jumped on the internet and booked flights for my sister, mother and myself. We are off to germany in less than 12 hours for my grandads funeral.
